Get ready for the Battlefield 6 open beta, where you'll test maps, modes, and weapons before launch. Here’s your complete guide to entering.

Official Beta Dates

The beta spans two weekends in August 2025

  • Early Access: August 7–8
  • Public Weekend 1: August 9–10
  • Public Weekend 2: August 14–17

How to Secure Early Access

Three ways to play first:

  1. Register with Battlefield Labs before July 31.
  2. Watch the July 31 Twitch reveal for Twitch Drops codes.
  3. Pre‑order the game (early access included in select editions).

If registered in Labs, no code needed—just log in with your linked EA Account.

Supported Platforms & Preload Details

Playable on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (EA App, Steam, Epic)

Preloading begins August 4 at 15:00 UTC (08:00 PT) across all platforms to prepare you in time for beta access 

Must‑Do Preparations

  • Link your EA Account to your platform.
  • Enable Secure Boot on PC—it’s required for beta access
  • The EA Javelin Anticheat system will be active during beta testing
  • Beta progress will not carry into the final game.
